      Voices from the Waters next workshop is on May 12th. 

      Our presenter for this workshop is Christina Mimmocchi.

      Christina will be known to many of you for Blindman's Holiday and Choir on a Wire, as well as her management of the Eastside Arts Cafe. Christine is an experienced and talented artist, a composer and performer as well as teacher. Her workshops are enthusiastic and creative and generally cover  4-5 songs from different genres and backgrounds. Come along for laughter singing and, of course, a sumptuous afternoon tea.

      Please come to our workshop for the wonderful experience of singing with kindred souls.

      Where?       1 – 4pm in the Nulty meeting room, Our Lady of the Rosary Cathedral. 23 Yardley Ave, Waitara  
                                (A short walk from Waitara, Hornsby or Normanhurst railway stations, there is plenty of parking too!)

      Time?          1 – 4pm on May 14th 2012
      Cost?           $20 which includes a sumptuous afternoon tea

        Happy New Year and to celebrate 2013 you are invited to be part of the next Voices from the Waters workshop on March 23rd. 

        We welcome a new presenter to our workshops,  Clarita Derwent.

        Clarita began her career as a classical ballerina and contemporary dancer before moving on to becoming a professional singer. 
        As a singer she has travelled on extensive national and international tours with MusicaViva Australia, Nora Goodridge Management, Flying Fish Media, & independent tours for 20 years - Teaching and performing A cappella, Latin and Jazz music. She has worked on both international and local music festivals specialising in Festivals in Cuba. She has worked most festivals in Australia as either a performer, workshop facilitator or stage manager.
        She has a passion for music and all music related events and education in the performing Arts. Her speciality is A-cappella, Cuban Son, Latin music, and singing in languages other than English but have a background in Music Theatre.

        Come along and meet Clarita, learn some songs with like minded music loving and friendly people and, of course, enjoy a sumptuous afternoon tea.
