A quick look at the log shows that the camera completed an image download, then a request is made to get the temperature from the camera. That request is sent

It's true that USB is prone to random failure and is always a prime suspect. But there is indeed a problem with the latest SX-ASCOM driver in that it fails

95% of the time when I have issues like this with any piece of equipment it is a faulty USB cable or hub. On only 1 occasion has it been a software/driver

Terry, sorry for the delay. The filter wheel is at my remote observatory in Spain so sometimes it's difficult to get to it. It was connected to a USB2 hub

Is it on a USB3 port? If so, it might be worth adding a cheap USB2 hub between the wheel and the USB3 – this might help. Otherwise, the board might need

I should add that if I disconnect the USB cable and reconnect it will work for a short while, and then it won't connect again.
