I think you said that the Jan. meeting is at DeAnza on Monday Jan 18th. If so I see that is also MLK day when the college may be closed. David Hirsch

Many thanks to those that attended the Dec 21 meeting, for bearing with us as we adjusted to changes on Apple's campus!  If nothing else, Apple is ever unpredictable!

--  Apple is in the middle of major renovations to convert Infinite Loop 4 into the new Executive Briefing Center.  This is a presentation space for business, school, and government leaders to be brought, to show them the benefits of Apple's products and negotiate large contracts.  There have been multiple spots scattered around Apple's facilities -- now they're being consolidated into one space.

As a result, Infinite Loop 4 will be closed for the next month.  To accommodate this, our January meeting is moving to the Beatles conference room in DeAnza 3 building (10500 N. DeAnza Blvd.)  Members may remember this as our standard meeting space on the other side of Mariani Ave for many years.  Our meeting announcement for January will have all the details.

Infinite Loop 4 will be open again -- and our meeting will return there -- in February.

--  For those that came to this week's meeting with questions... sorry we didn't get them answered!  I encourage you to ask them here, in the Yahoo group mail list.  You can also hold onto them, and we'll deal with them as normal at the January meeting.

-- Some people also may have follow-up questions on Lynda Gousha's presentation of Mac security issues.  Again, feel free to ask them here, or hold them for the next meeting.

-- Remember that Macworld Expo has moved to February 9-13.  On the good side, no post-Holiday crunch... and no interference with CES.  But do remember to mark the date on your calendar, and get your show passes if you haven't already done so.

Welcome, 2010!  The year is already shaping up to be even more eventful and tempestuous  than 2009.  We hope you join us for it!
