    Message 1 of 11 , Apr 1, 2004
      What I was saying was to put a size to the <embed> element in your HTML
      page (<embed type="image/svg+xml" src="xxxxx.svg" wmode="transparent"
      id="xxxxx" width="300" height="200">).

      Make sure that your svg tag looks something like that:

      <svg viewBox="0 0 2200 1700" preserveAspectRatio="xMinYMin meet" .....>

      This will make sure that your LARGE file will scale down to the SMALL
      size of the page area.

      I am sorry, I don't have examples and my answers are more theoretical.

      Also, there is a possibility that I am not understanding the real nature
      of your problem... :-(

        Hi,
        You have to scale 900 to 300 (1/3) and 1200 to 200 (1/6).

        Look at this axample :

        <svg width="300" height="200" viewbox="0 0 900 1200">
        <g transform="scale(0.33333,0.1666)">
        <rect x="0" y="0" width="900" height="1200" fill="red"/>
        <line x1="0" x2="150" y1="100" y2="100" stroke="yellow" stroke-width="4"/>
        <line x1="150" x2="150" y1="0" y2="100" stroke="yellow" stroke-width="4"/>
        </g>
        </svg>

        What I was saying was to put a size to the <embed> element in your HTML
        page (<embed type="image/svg+xml" src="xxxxx.svg" wmode="transparent"
        id="xxxxx" width="300" height="200">).

        Make sure that your svg tag looks something like that:

        <svg viewBox="0 0 2200 1700" preserveAspectRatio="xMinYMin meet" .....>

        This will make sure that your LARGE file will scale down to the SMALL
        size of the page area.

        I am sorry, I don't have examples and my answers are more theoretical.

        Also, there is a possibility that I am not understanding the real nature
        of your problem... :-(
