Press in. There is a tool called a "Hub Tamer" or "Hub Shark" that is able to press the bearing out/in on the car.

What do you have to do to replace front wheel bearing on a 98 legacy? Are they a unbolt and replace or will they need pressed in? Thank you

It's on the side of the gearbox,I can't remember which side,though. It is a small plug with two wires. I can look in my Haynes manual for you,if you like? ...
