Thanks Jiangao, give or take a day I think.
If it is much brighter in next images then should also be in C3 in next days. I don't think this is the C3 report for 20091231

Gidday Michal and all, Wow, Looks realy good in C3, even made Spaceweather.com. It has taken three years to try to catch a very bright Kreutz comet this way.

Comet will be probably missed by IRAM, because LASCO data were published with one day of delay. :(

Comet could be observed with the IRAM to elongation ~2 deg (reduced IRAM Sun Avoidance Limit). Your comet will pass this elongation tomorrow morning (in UT). IRAM could start observations at ~9 UT. It is too late!
So we don't have rather a chance to get a satisfied results for this comet in milimeter wavelenghts.

                Michal

Gidday Michal and all, thats a shame, crunch time soon as it enters into C2 FOV. I see Rainer has elements worked out, hope it makes the corner with some mass

I see Rainer has elements worked out, hope it makes the corner with some mass left over.
As these streams are seen each year, could this comet be a return SOHO?

thanks to all that are getting involved in the excitement. Some weird reports on the web.
but the comet forums are keeping it real.

                  kind regards, Alan.

I hope it makes the corner with some mass left over.
if I draw a line along this path it is just to the left of the C2 occulting disk.
Will it make it?? looks to be loosing size very quickly now.
