Although I have and am now reading Steiner -so many books to date, I have not noted that Steiner made reference to the Sumerian culture. Did he consider the Chaldeans to be the same? I appreciate your comments.

Steiner generally refers to the Chaldeans together with the Assyrians, Babylonians and Egyptians as all being a "wave" of civilization in the zodiacal Age of Taurus (c. 3000 BC). I don't know anywhere where he went into detail about the Chaldeans' alleged ancestors, Sumer. Perhaps someone else here knows more about that. I believe they all stretch back in their origin to refugees from ancient Atlantis, long before we have any recorded history of them.
