      Dr. Starman,
      I participated in  Holy nghts workshop last year and was very happy with the results.  We meditated each night on a specific verse for each month of the coming year and either wrote or drew an interpretation of either a dream image that came to us or any inspiration from the meditation.

      May I suggest either-Reincarnation and Karma, Steiner or
      The Life of the Soul by Georg Kühlewind?

      Both books have subjects appropriate to that time of year and are written in a format that lends itself to a study that continues for 12 consecutive nights.

      Lectures three through fourteen in Festival Images for Today by Carlo Pietzner focus on Michaelmas, Advent, Christmas, Easter and Whitsun, so might also be appropriate.

      PS I found this beatiful poem by Wordsworth that I would like to share:

                                  Our birth is but a
                                  sleeping and a
                                  forgetting;
                                  The soul that rises
                                  with us, our life's
                                  Star,
                                  Hath had
                                  elsewhere its
                                  setting,
                                  And cometh from
                                  afar;
                                  Not in entire
                                  forgetfulness,
                                  And not in utter
                                  nakedness,
                                  But trailing clouds
                                  of glory do we
                                  come
                                  From God who is
                                  our home;

                                  Intimations of
                                  Immortality -
                                  William
                                  Wordsworth

        I think it might be a good idea for us to take up verses to do also, or other
        things to DO daily, to engage the will.

        BTW if the choice is going to be the Gospel of John, I have the original
        German, which can come in handy when there's a question about something that
        seems unclear.

        I also see it has 12 chapters!

        Dear Sena, Have we all the lectures covered for the Holy Nights study? Perhaps you could post which are covered and by whom? Thank you! Morgan
