You're wall calender is incorrect....Below is the October birthdays from the official star trek site:

There are three birthdays for individuals involved in the Star Trek universe this month. Stephen Collins played Will Decker in Star Trek: The Motion Picture. It has been inferred that his character is the son of Commodore Matt Decker (William Windom) who appeared in the original series episode The Doomsday Machine. Collins' birthday is on October 1. Ira Steven Behr was the Executive Producer on Star Trek: Deep
Space Nine and celebrates his birthday on October 22. Robert Picardo who plays The Doctor on Star Trek: Voyager has his birthday on Ocober 25.

I have to tell my mom that her birthday is the day after Robert Picardo's!...The holodoc eps are her fave eps.

Happy Birthday to Bill Shatner today.

The character of James T. Kirk is what drew me to Star Trek from the beginning.  Bill Shatner was the actor that brought that character to life.

I finally saw Bill Shatner live last year when he was touring with Wrath of Khan.  I am just sorry I was not able to get tickets for the meet and greet..

                                          Regards,

Combination of Scotty and Kirk hooked me.  To this day, when lying behind furniture hooking up TV's, computers, stereos, etc, i remember Scotty doing something similar and will say something along the lines of "If i go any faster she canna take it.  We'll blow apart~!"

I've had a book/comic signed by Leonard Nimoy and Walter Koenig. I've also seen George Takei at a convention.

And yes, it was Shatner's Kirk and Nimoy's Spock that hooked me on Trek. :)

I didn't worry about meeting him, i was there for Trek movie posters to decorate my first apartment;)
