And as far as I recollect she neber enlisted into Earth Satrfleet, albiet considered eventually part of the crew. Also the moniker applied to Spock refers to UFP Starfleet not the Earth Starfleet. One possible problem though, is not with ENT but rather ST:DISC in which there is a Vulcan Admiral. But even then it has been argued that after Spock became the first Vulcan enlisted in UFP Starfleet other vulcans transfered or served from Vulcan defense force to Starfleet.
I'm not excatly sure what do you mena by "The change in Klingon appearance" because it has been accepted that was the appearance of the klingons all along. And actually ENT gave, although lamely, a reason for TOS klingons. But I must ask first is that is what yuou are talking about?
The augments were an expansion of the genesis story that gave us Khan. We knew there were enhanced humans and we got to see the Khan sagam but the whole story were never explored. Part of it was discussed in DS9 with Bashir being an enhanced human. So, in ENT we saw another branch of the story.
"Discovery: Spock with a beard." In what sense does that change things? We knew that Spock can grow facial hair. And this time he was passing thru a particular situation. I mena, I can see the production rational of it and at the same time doesn't seem tp affect Trekdom.

Kirk has been always that way. As for Spoock and Uhura, we must take into account this is no t the Prime Universe, is the Alternate Universe. So things will be similar excatly teh same or with some variation.
In that regard, you are correct. Being placed like 20 years after ST:NEMESIS give us a new perpective not attached to what we previously know. Star Trek has soured me a bit on prequels. Starting with Enterprise they insist with trying to fill things in but end up changing what was.
Examples, Enterprise: The first Vulcan in Star Fleet? The change in Klingon appearance. The augments.
Discovery: Spock with a beard.
The new JJ movies: Spock dating Uhura. Kirk a smart ass.
This series is not a [prequel and that makes me excited about it. Maybe now we can go to strange new worlds, seek out new life and new civilizations, and go again where no one has gone before.
