Anybody else notice how Michael Giacchino's theme for Star Trek is a perfect counterpoint to Alexander Courage's theme for Star Trek. Listen to the first musical phrase of the Courage theme then listen to the first musical phrase of the Giacchino theme and you will hear what I mean.

I wonder what happens when you overlap the two?
