Too bad the Rollers didn't release an album called "Rollerama" (sic).
No, but I have found one titled ROLLERWORLD, recorded live at The
Budokan in Tokyo Japan in 1977 (finally released in 2001). EXCELLENT
sound quality for a mid-70's live show!
So typical of the music biz, it was done at a point when England had
turned their back on them (punk was the new big thing) and the US was
getting bored aas well, with radio being taken over by disco. The
Japanese were also HUGE on The Monkees in the 70's, a decade when all
of their original albums were out-of-print in their country of origin...
I just got the first 4 BCR UK CDs from Amazon Marketplace stores (you
can find real bargains from them). The new reissues all contain bonus
tracks, including quite a few early Martin-Coulter "45" sides that
were never included on any of the US LPs. Fun stuff!
