BTW the "C" following the K in the serial number indicates you should have a Model C. That is power feed by half nuts. If you have a friction feed apron, the

6k collet dimensions

I have a 10k that came with a nearly complete set of 3c collets. I'd like to make a few soft collets that will fit in the taper meant for the 6k collets.

I manufactured one out ofmild steel. the hole is 1/8in dia. Just make your pin a little bit oversized. It should be about 1/8 in out. If a MT 3 centre

It's just a pin. Designed to be replaced. No big deal If you don't have one tightening the collet will be difficult. Just measure the hole file an end square
