Come see pop culture skewered, have a lot of fun, and support
      Somerville writers, directors, and performers!

WHAT: Buffy the Vampire Slayer’s High School Reunion

WHEN: December 6-21, Friday-Sunday at 8 pm, plus a special
matinee Sunday December 14, at 2 pm

WHERE: Theater 1: 731 Harrison Avenue, in Boston’s South End (in
the Bates Arts Resource Center, near the Boston Medical Center)

HOW MUCH: Tickets $15-20 evenings, pay what you can for the matinee

INFO: Call 617-290-6809 for reservations (it’s a teensy theater &
may well sell out) Go to http://www.brianandmal.com/ for more
info, including directions to the theater.

WHAT: High school reunions can be hell! For years, Buffy put the
POW! in grrl power, but her Slayer strength may not be enough to
face this ancient ritual. Will the Scooby Gang have what it
takes to deal with crepe paper, spiked punch, and an evil plot to
turn the whole town into perky cheerleaders?

WHO: BtVSHSR is a QUEER SOUP production, created by Kim Hoff,
Karen “Mal” Malme, Jess Martin, and Somervillians Renee Farster
and Brian Jewell. It is directed by Sommervillian Renee C.
Farster, stage managed by Somervillian Sonya Keller, and features
Kim Hoff, Karen “Mal” Malme, Kim Miele, Dan Minkle, Andy Riel,
Jennifer Somers, and Somervillians Jenny Gutbezahl, Brian Jewell,
      and Joye Thaller

NOTE: This show will probably be funnier to fans of the TV show,
but it can been enjoyed by everybody, except possibly members of
the Radical Right, who might be offended by the gender-blind
      casting and same-sex kissing.
