      Hi Will:
      The problem with the charger should be remedied. Because the chargers
      are built so compact all of the components are really close together. In
      the case of your charger, a capacitor on a board was right over a hold
      down bolt for one of the large coils in the charger. I have never seen
      this before but some how it was arcing between the capacitor and the
      bolt and caused the failure. I replace the whole capacitor board and
      covered the bolts with heat shrink to prevent it from happening again. I
      hope this gives you some confidence. Sorry for the inconvenience.
