Actually, that's good.
.5V (black probe on the stripe) is the forward voltage drop of the diode.
1.6V (red probe on the stripe) is the reverse Zener drop of the diode.
This shows that it is a 1.6V Zener diode (or it is in parallel with something in circuit that is...), the important thing is that it is not shorted.On Jun 25, 2014 8:46 PM, "paul dove dovepa@... Hi Wolf,The Zener doesn't seem to be shorted, test give 0,508 and 1,597.If you do repair services, maybe can I ship only that board or can it be something on another board ?thanks,Michel
