A few weeks ago I was having problems with my keyboard and mouse not
working with my laptop after adding new patches, specifically
118844-19. Well the problem hasn't been resolved yet, but I do have
      some new information since.

I have fully patched my laptop (HP ZE4430), including 118844-20.

I stated in the past, my mouse & keyboard wasn't working, but I have
found out since, if I were to turn off my mouse using the button next to
the touchpad, after booting to the login screen, I press the button
again, thus turning the mouse "on", I can login. Mouse and Keyboard
work. If I leave the mouse "on" during boot to the login screen,
      Keyboard and Mouse won't work.

Below are two excerpts from /var/log/Xorg.0.log. The first excerpt is
with mouse and keyboard working. The second excerpt is without the
      mouse and keyboard working.

How come Xorg skips over the section to load Mouse and Keyboard drivers?

      thus working system)
