Petty straightforward, Tim. Feed the audio thru the virt cables. Get that working, then use the virt serial to send PTT thru serial to HDSDR. No cat control avail so no vfo control. Won't need it when on a single band, just between bands.

      Thanks Adam,

I have all of the software you mentioned as I have been using/building/testing/repairing SoftRock's for over a year now but wasn't sure if I had to use HDSDR or not. I am going to suppose it is similar to connecting RCKSkimmer. I have done that before and it worked great.

There are some documents floating around, Alan has a good site on how to configure HDSDR.

The short answer is that you use HDSDR, a software called "Virtual Audio Cables" and a software called com0com.
HDSDR will emulate a regular com port CTS/DTR style PTT, but it needs to be connected via a virtual null modem cable to the client application (JT65). Similarly, you use the virtual audio cables to connect the speaker/mic output/input on HDSDR to JT65-HF. It all works pretty well, but takes some learning how the HDSDR software works.

Has anyone hooked up an RXTX to the JT65HF software or similar to run JT65 with an RXTX? If so, can you please tell me how you connected them?
