Many thanks for the replacement 80/40 Xtal and V6 30m kit arrived this
am - 4 days from US to UK - very good.
The replacement xtal has solved the off freq problem, in slower time I
will check to see if the faulty xtal was also the root of needing to
add R17 to get enough drive to clock the dividers.

Typically the oscillator frequency is a few kHz lower than 28.224 MHz
in the SoftRock circuit so that the center frequency on 40m comes out
around 7.057 MHz. Please check your measurements and let me know if
you are needing a new crystal. If so, I will send you one on Monday,
