      Hi Colin!

I use Win 7 and i think there is no need of a fresh install.

I only have this issue, when i plug something different in another usb port.

      Reenabling usbi2c in Psdr helps.

      I have both Win 7 32 and 64 Bit

      Good Luck!

Standard USB Keyboard and Mouse an do a reinstall of WIN7 from scratch. Then plus in the RXTX Ensemble and let Win7 install that before the many other USB devices I use get allocated the various addresses. Then once that is done, plug in my MS Wireless Keyboard and mouse and all going well that may install and not end up conflicting with the USB of my RXTX Ensemble.
