Can the Softrock work without the BPF filter at all ?
What might be the efffect ?
2) can it work without filter if the Softrock is attached to external receiver IF ??

The BPF only allows signals through that you want to hear so you will hear
lots that you do not want to hear.
Depending on the Softrock model the BPF also contains the input transformer.

Possibly but it still needs matching and an input transformer.
The Softrock is SDR with the minimum of components, if you try to omit any
then it will work very very poorly.
