      Bob,

Last time I spoke to George he was trying to make the kit available, however I never received any acknowledgement of my order. And at that time we were two of us wanting the kit.
Nothing intendend , the other guy just run out and I am still waiting.
Lets have some hope we are in May now. Perhaps I will have a chance to order one set.
      Regards

      Hi Jose,

The last time I looked George was still taking orders for the next batch of v6.3ng kits, to deliver in late May or June, but he is having to wait for delivery of the Si570 devices, which have a long lead time. Nothing he can do about that.

As he is making the kits as a 'hobby service' to amateurs, you cannot blame him for not wanting to spend a lot of money in advance buying the Si570 chips. Most of us do not have that sort of 'spare' money lying around!

At least he has been honest with publishing his expect delivery time-scales, so anyone ordering the kit has a good idea how long they are going to have to wait for delivery.

Trouble is as amateurs we all want something yesterday!

          Hi Jose,

I apologize for not getting back to you about the SR63ng kit.

I am taking orders for the kit with delivery to start with the arrival of the Si570. All the parts have arrived and preliminary kit'ing has been completed. When the clock arrives I 'should' be able to ship 20 units a day.

I expect to ship in late May or early June depending on the arrival of the Si570 chip. If there are any changes to this schedule I will contact those who have placed orders.

There is a small information page on the MOBOkits site with a link to the document file as well as pictures of a completed unit.
          http://groups.google.com/group/MOBOKITS/web/sr63ng-information

If you do not have access to the MOBO group you view a copy of the webpage at http://tinyurl.com/33syvl9
