I just did a few quick checks to confirm, as it is a while since I checked out the CW / PTT functions over the USB connection using v15.10 firmware.
Both the CW paddles and PTT functions do work, tried with Rocky v3.6 and PSDR-IQ v1.12.20.
I am not a CW operator, and I think the some speed aspects of using the USB port might be a problem for high speed CW, say faster than 15 - 20WPM. I did notice some clipping of the first character when using semi break-in, and needed to set a very long delay.
I know Christos recommends using the parallel port input with his program, which I would agree with for serious CW operation.
No harm in giving it a try, or keep both options available.
