          Probable nothing gained in expressing no interest. I found it interesting enough to check out. Shooting down someone's ideals doesn't impress anyone but your self. As far as I am concerned keep the posts coming. We can ignore ones that we don't apply. Unless there not sdr radio related. Lets not squelch the enthusiasm!!

            I have an array of RF amps available including 2 working 5W ones from an
            older project using VN66AF's, but I still have a look at whatever is
            drawn to my attention.
            I found it interesting also and immediately checked what balun cores I
            have on hand though I am not likely to build it. All ideas welcomed.

            Yep a good idea in principle, But untrue that RF MOSFETs are easily blown. Mitsubishi s stand high VSWR at full power according to their datasheet, and my own

              A stage as used in MoBo V4 would end up about the same price, as it
              has less transformers + heatsinks.
