      Hi all,

For those who are starting to experiment with the switched BPF module
for the v9.0, it is useful to 'see' which filter is selected when
testing the various software programs and dll files currently
available (i.e. determining which actually supports the function).

This can simply be done by wiring two low current LEDs (with series
resistors i.e. 2k2) to the J3 jumper pins to monitor the AVR chip
outputs. There are plated through holes right by the jumper to pick up
the two signals, and another hole (in line, nearest the 5V regulator)
can be used to connect the LED 0V return.

The LEDs can be seen to increment in binary fashion when selecting the
      4 different bands from '00' for 1.8 - 4MHz through to '11' for 16 - 30MHz.

      Regards,

      Bob G8VOI
