      Good Morning All,

Mike Collins has completed his initial performance testing of the v9.0
Lite+USB Xtall general coverage receiver kit and reports proper
operation on each of the amateur bands. RX MDS is at least -118 dBm on
each of the bands. Center frequencies are set via a USB connection to
the v9.0 circuit board and any center frequency may be set between 1.8
MHz through 30.0 MHz. Manual changing of the BPF module is necessary
as frequency changes are made from one band of frequencies to another
band of frequencies with frequency ranges of about 1.8 MHz to 2.2 MHz,
2.2 MHz to 9.0 MHz, 9.0 MHz to 20 MHz, and 20 MHz to 30.0 MHz.

I have enough circuit boards in stock to provide a limited run of the
v9.0 Lite+USB Xtall kits. The kit price is $44 for US/Canada and $45
for DX where each kit price includes mailing cost. The kit prices
include a CMOS Si570 and if a kit buyer wants the kit without the Si570
each kit price is reduced by $15.

Later this morning I will update the v9.0 documentation to include the
bill of materials information for the kit.

      Thanks and 73,
      Tony KB9YIG

        Hi Gordon,

There is a LF interface kit that provides for operation down to below 100 kHz.

At the present time no new orders are being accepted for any of the SoftRock kits.  I have many orders on the books and want to catch up before accepting additional kit order.

Please check back after February 15.

        Thanks and 73,

        Tony,
Is it possible to order one and possibly configure it to cover the 500
kHz to 30 MHz spectrum? In any case, I would love to order one. How
        may I do it?

        Thanks & 73,
