      Good Afternoon All,

      It might be possible to have positions for four 20m/30m crystals with
      the 20m/30m RXTXv6.2 kit by use of a second daughter board. The
      second daughter board would be mounted spaced away from the first
      daughter board in a sandwich like fashion with the circuit side of
      the second daughter board facing the bottom side of the first
      daughter board. Mounted on the second daughter board would be two
      user supplied crystals along with D100, D101, C103, C104, R103, R104,
      R105, R106, and JP100. These components would all be mounted on the
      bottom side of the second daughter board. Electrical connections
      between the two boards would include +12 volts and GND as well as the
      emitter leads of Q100 and Q101 of the first daughter board. (When
      building the first daughter board the emitter leads of Q100 and Q101
      would not be trimmed until the two boards were joined together.)

      The two board "sandwich" with the four crystals would be mounted to
      the RXTX board where the daughter board now mounts with
      the "sandwich" on edge slightly raised above the RXTX board so that
      the crystals would be parallel to the RXTX board.

      If there are any who would like to try this arrangement for getting
      four crystals, I can supply a small kit of parts for the second
      daughter board that would include the following:

      A 20m/30m daughter board,
      Two MPN3700 diodes for D100 and D101,
      Two 0.1 uF SMT capacitors for C103 and C104,
      Two 1.8k resistors for R103 and R104
      Two 22k resistors for R105 and R106
      One three pin header and one two pin jumper plug for JP100

      Cost of the kit would be $6 which would include the postage. Kits
      will be in stock starting September 4.
