      Hello, all ...

      OK, i've managed to get SOAP::Lite installed on:

      1. my 1.33GHz PowerBook, running Mac OSX 10.3.7
      2. my old G4 Cube at home
      3. one Cygwin (Win2K) box at work

      ... but I can't remember what exactly I did to get past this:

      t/03-server............ok 1/30# Failed test 2 in t/03-server.t at line
      138 fail #2 # t/03-server.t line 138 is: $_ =~ /XML/ || $is_mimeparser
      ? ok(($result->faultstring || '') =~ /Failed to access class
      \(Calculator\)/) # Failed test 3 in t/03-server.t at line 138 fail #3
      t/03-server............NOK 6# Failed test 6 in t/03-server.t at line
      148 fail #2 # t/03-server.t line 148 is: $_ =~ /XML/ || $is_mimeparser
      ? ok(($result->result || 0) == 7) t/03-server............NOK 7# Failed
      test 7 in t/03-server.t at line 148 fail #3
      t/03-server............FAILED tests 2-3, 6-7 Failed 4/30 tests, 86.67%
      okay t/04-attach............Something wrong with MIME message:
      MIME::Parser: can't flush: Inappropriate ioctl for device at
      /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.8.0/MIME/Parser.pm line 789.

      ... and other people here are trying to install it (Cygwin) as well.
      I'm trying to remember what voodoo I did, but until I do, can anyone
      else illuminate me as to why MIME::Parser gives such a fit?

      Regards,

      John

        you looked at those test files? Maybe looking at what they're trying to
        do will give a clue.

        The last error message about MIME::Parser suggests maybe it'd be worth
        checking your MIME::Parser version for incompatibilities with
        SOAP::Lite? I'm running MIME::Parser 5.406 with SOAP::Lite 0.55 on one
        system, and 5.415 / 0.60 on another, both Gentoo systems.
