      I've been requested by the 3rd-party company I am working with to
      change my SOAP responses from this:

      ##BEGINNING OF XML#######################
      <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>

      <SOAP-ENV:Envelope xmlns:SOAP-
      ENC="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/encoding/" SOAP-
      ENV:encodingStyle="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/encoding/"
      xmlns:SOAP-ENV="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/"
      xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/1999/XMLSchema-instance"
      xmlns:xsd="http://www.w3.org/1999/XMLSchema">
      <SOAP-ENV:Header>
      <Interface >
      <Acknowledgement TrackingId="6776"
      RequestId="111222"/>
      </Interface>
      </SOAP-ENV:Header>
      <SOAP-ENV:Body>
      <namesp1:ResNotifRQResponse
      xmlns:namesp1="http://www.opentravel.org/OTA/2003/03"/>
      </SOAP-ENV:Body>
      </SOAP-ENV:Envelope>

      ############## END OF XML#######################
      to strip out the following element:

      <namesp1:ResNotifRQResponse
      mlns:namesp1="http://www.opentravel.org/OTA/2003/03"/>

      and only send an empty <SOAP_ENV:Body /> tag.

      They have also requested that for SOAP Faults
      to exclude the <namesp1> tag as well and only include the actual SOAP
      Fault message.

      My question is two-fold: 1) is this possible with Soap-lite( if so,
      how) ?
      2)Does this violate any SOAP rules e.g.(would it still be considered
      a valid SOAP Message) ?

      Thanks for your help,

      Greg Gibson
