        SOAP::Lite uses the LWP::UserAgent class for HTTP. Any options you would pass
        to LWP::UserAgent->new() you can pass in the proxy() method of SOAP::Lite:

        my $soap = SOAP::Lite->new->proxy($url, timeout => 30, ...);

        sets a 30-second timeout.
