The SOAP toolkit includes a SOAP Trace utility which is useful for looking at  SOAP Requests/Responses

      http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyId=C943C0DD-CEEC-4088-9753-86F052EC8450&displaylang=en

These settings should get the SOAP trace working

      1. Client web references set to localhost
      2. IIS TCP Port set to 8080
      3. SOAP Trace, listen on 80, destination is 8080

      HTH
