      Hello,

A live endpoint is now available for DIME testing at:

      http://www.whitemesa.net/dimetest

This implements a DIME test interface described here:

      http://www.whitemesa.net/wsdl/dime_test.wsdl

developed by Simon Fell. As time permits I'll update it to reflect the draft "WSDL extension for SOAP in DIME" spec which arrived only today.

SOAP is encapsulated per the "Encapsulating SOAP in DIME" draft [1]. Multiple attachments are supported, of any size. However, the server closes connections that have been open longer than 60 seconds, effectively limiting the DIME package size.

Request payloads may be chunked or unchunked, but response payloads will be sent chunked with a record size of 4096 octets. HTTP 1.0 is used at present.

Next will be an endpoint for testing RPC encoded SOAP using DIME.

      RC
