Friday afternoon fadef very light, tried a foil, but quickly dumped kite in water, too little wind to relaunch....not much progress on the foil front. CRISSY FIELD: Then...Saturday & Sunday scorching hot, no wind at Sherman, so mid-day (both days) depart for Crissy field to escape the HEAT...

Before launching, watch on the water the pattern of coming wind...the wind that'll hit you sometime during departure. Do not launch when you see it coming from Turner, more parallel to shore...careening...
