RPM... word up?  We need to talk.  Where did you get it?  How long will you have it?  Why not the REV?  Why so small?  Never mind.... let's talk.  I'll be back tomorrow afternoon.

Got off the water at 11am.  The clouds rolled in and seemed to dampen the wind but about 9:45 they broke and we played until 11. So that would make it 11 out of the past 12 days for me :-). Nothing spectacular but enough wind for a 10m Sling Shot RPM kite.  The Slingshot RPM is a really nice flying kite but has horrible relaunch characteristics. I can not imagine getting a 12 or larger off the water, real bummer b/c it flies really nice and very smooth control. I wish I were on my 13 and that surf board, now that would have been real nice.

I think the wind will be there but light for the next 2 days especially Saturday:-): -):-), Sunday does not look to good.

More like attempting tricks instead of “did”…

I’m wondering if the strong NW flow in the Gorge is having some effect on the morning wind.  It’s cranking at the Hatch now (http://www.hatchcam .com/) and it’s blowing at  Arlington/Three Miles as we speed.
It’s probably going to mess up morning wind for the next few days.  Hopefully there will be some spill over for some NW wind in the afternoon over the weekend.
      Best regards,
      Chris Lee.

Well, I had fun!  Both Chris L. and I were on 5.5's; Chris got some rides, did some slogging, and did some tricks; I went out on my 5.5 and at first did some slogging, but pretty soon was planing at least 85 percent of the time. I sailed from 7:45 to 9 and no one else came out until the very end, when a kiter came down the canyon. It dropped down a bit just before I came in, but after I derigged and was driving back across the dam it looked like it maybe had come back up; that was about 9:30.
