      I just spoke with Hiedi from the Market Basket at Fairfield, she says there is close to 2 feet of fresh snow. Wind might be slow tommorrow though. Right now

        Things must have changed dramatically since this past Monday. A friend of mine returned to Boise from Sun Valley via Goodales cutoff and he said there was no

          Things must have changed dramatically since this past Monday.  A friend of mine returned to Boise from Sun Valley via Goodales cutoff and he said there was no snow in the Camas Prairie.  Fairfield is about 30 miles east of the Camas Summit.  I just check the Snotel site again and the amount of snow at the Soldier Mtn. Ranger Station has increased as shown below:  The Soldier Mtn Ranger station is at 5740 feet elevation.  I can't go on Saturday, but let me know what the conditions are like.
