RE: [snowkiteidaho] Tues/Wed
- God news the Camas is not closed yet....The Featherville Flats area has a pretty good base of snow although with warm temps it will go quickly probably another week or 2 but if the wind is blowing it is worth going. Yesterday Steve, J, Darrel and myself got in 3 hours in 12-15. it was kinda mushy but nice on a snowboard the skis were alot of work. there is a forecast for snow by this weekend and the temps do not look to bad so I think it is not over yet.Eddy

Subject: Re: [snowkiteidaho] Tues/WedFYI, you probably know this, but the Camas looked craptastic on my way up to MT on Thursday, and that was before many days of warmness. I returned yesterday via Stanley and there looked like there was plenty o' miles of empty, untracked snow just west of town, but does the wind ever blow there?Got skunked at Georgetown Lake, btw - nice winds from Anaconda to the lake, and then it just stopped when we got there. Also there were many, many puddles. Sure was pretty there! Didn't make it to Island Park :( -whit----- Original Message ----
