You missed out on some great conversations with all the lookie loos.  very few sailors/ kiters actually on the water today.
Sat. was the better of the two.  With more windsurfers than kiters for a change.  Most were actually planing.  a few went out this morning but it was light most of the time.  Chris Lee and Chris N. were early and got the best of it.  A few kiters finally braved the light winds but it was little and must have died a quick death.  but TOMORROW it will surely be grand.  C U then.

Report from Gorge...if you are able to come over for the next three days, DO IT! The crowds have mellowed...some. Still no sandbar to speak of so launching

Report from Gorge...if you are able to come over for the next three days, DO IT!  The crowds have mellowed...some.  Still no sandbar to speak of so launching and landing is always interesting, with setting up being the hardest part of all...spaghetti nightmare!  Watched the lone tree at the event site claim a kite the other day, guy looked like he meant to land it there! Still well worth it, the river flow has changed significantly by the White Salmon River bridge due to the breaching of the White Salmon (Condit) dam last winter.  It has created some awesome flat water and interesting very large and super smooth swell.  Look out for the random log on the downriver side though.

Hope Lucky Peak delivers the next few days!
