- EggBeaters is one brand, there are a few others, most chains have there own version as well. Generally speaking, substitutes are made from egg whites, making them healthier and fluffier. For the most part you can easily substitute real eggs in any recipe. Equivalent is 1 egg for each 1/4 cup egg substitute.
Hope that helps. By the way, most of the substitute egg products are made from real eggs so don't use if some one is allergic to egg.
