1 1/2 lbs. boneless beef round steak
1 clove garlic, minced
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. chili powder
1 Tbsp. prepared mustard
1 onion, chopped
1 tsp. beef bouillon granules
1 cup fresh or bottled salsa
1 16-oz. can red kidney beans, drained
Trim fat from meat.
Combine garlic, pepper, salt, chili powder & mustard. Coat meat with mixture. Cut meat into 1/2 inch wide strips.
Place in crockpot. Stir in onion, bouillon granules & salsa.
Cover & cook on low 7 1/2 to 8 hours.
Turn control to high. Add beans. Cover & cook on high for 30 minutes.
