      564435 Swedish Cabbage Rolls

      Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method

      12 lg Cabbage leaves (or more.
      2 Beaten eggs
      1/2 c Milk
      1/4 c Chopped onion
      1/4 t Pepper
      1 t Salt
      1 lb Lean ground beef
      1 c Minute rice
      1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
      1 T Brown sugar
      1 T Lemon juice
      1 t Worcestershire sauce

      Immerse cabbage leaves in large kettle of boiling water for 3 minutes;
      drain. Combine eggs, milk, onion, salt, pepper, beef and rice. Place
      about 1/4 cup meat mixture in center of each leaf; fold in sides and
      roll ends over meat. Secure with toothpick. Place in slow cooker.
      Combine rest of ingredients. Pour over cabbage rolls. (If you like a
      lot of sauce, you may want to double this part of the recipe.) Cover
      and cook in slow cooker for 7 to 9 hours on low.

        Polish Sausage and Cabbage

        Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method

        1/2 Cabbage head -- course sliced
        1 Potato -- small; peeled/diced
        1 t Salt
        1/2 ts Caraway seed
        1 Large onion -- cut 1" slices
        1 1/2 lb Polish sausage -- cut 1" piece
        14 oz Chicken broth

        Place sliced cabbage in crockpot. Toss with diced potato, salt and
        caraway seed. Add sliced onion and Polish sausage. Pour chicken broth
        over all; stir lightly. Cover and cook on Low setting for 8 to 10
        hours (on HIGH setting for 2 to 4 hours). This dish is delicious
        served with mustard, horseradish and boiled new potatoes. Makes 4
        servings (about 3 1/2 quarts). Formatted from Rival Crock-Pot

          Swedish Cabbage Rolls - Slow Cooker
          Ingredients
          12 large cabbage leaves
          1 egg-slightly beaten
          1/4 cup milk
          1/4 cup finely chopped onion
          1 tsp. salt
          1/4 tsp. pepper
          1 lb. ground beef
          1/3 cup uncooked rice
          1 (8oz) can tomato sauce
          1 tbsp. brown sugar
          1 tbsp. lemon
          1 tsp. worcestershire sauce
          Immerse cabbage leaves in large pot boiling water and cook about 3 mins.
          or until limp. Drain in large bowl, combine egg, milk, onion, salt and pepper,
          beef and rice. Place 3 tbsp. meat mixture incenter of each cabbage leaf.
          Fold in sides and roll ends over meat mixture. Place in slow cooker. In small
          bowl combine tomato saucee, brown sugar, lemon juice and worcestershire
          sauce. Pour over cabbage rolls, cover and cook on low 6-7 hours. Serve hot.
          Top with sauce.
