The Scale Auto Racing / MRC / NINCO Gulf Coast Regional date has been set
for Saturday Sept 30th.
Scale Auto Racing, Inc., Model Rectifier Corp. (MRC) and NINCO are proud to
announce the 2006 Fall Gulf Coast Regional hosted by Scale Auto Racing, Inc.
and the Houston Scale Auto Racing Club!
Below you will find the rules information for the Gulf Coast Regional Race.
There is also additional information on the race information as well as
accommodations information should you be traveling in from out of town.
To accommodate the largest possible number of drivers, we will have races
structured in multiple flights of either 8 or 12 racers at a time, so that we
can schedule people into the race facility throughout the day. You are always
free to come and watch, or better yet, come and help out. This is going to be
a huge event, with prizes being donated by Model Rectifier Corp. and Scale
Auto Racing, Inc., so we will need all the help we can get!
There will be prizes from MRC as well as prizes from Scale Auto Racing. In
addition Scale Auto Racing and the Houston Scale Auto Racing Club (HSARC) will
be sending the top 2 racers to the US National Qualifier in Atlanta.
The doors will open at 7am on race day (Saturday) and there will be practice
time on Friday and Saturday. There will also be a short, times practice time
for the drivers of each flight before the races of that flight begin.
Registration will be online, and there are a couple of registration options.
You can register for the race only and YOU provide the required motor and
tires for your car OR you can register for the race and WE can provide the
required motor and tires for your car with you.
