Harlequin Duck 7/25
- The second year male HARLEQUIN DUCK was again present in the rocks on the
northerly side of the Cayucos Pier this evening. It has lost its primaries,
but the sheaths of the new feathers were visible on its stubby wings and it
now shows a remnant of the white stripe across the shoulder onto the breast,
a mostly white belly, and white tertials.
