Images From the Fellowship
A gung ho disciple gives enthusiastic approval to every evil thing that is said about people who left the church, both from the pulpit and in private, and he adds his own insults towards those people he had fellowshipped with for years. After he leaves the church he looks up some of the same ex members who he slandered and laments, "I can't understand how they can say all these nasty things about me after all those years of faithfulness....."
A fellowship pastor seduces and has sex with a man's wife and tells her that her husband is evil because he is unsubmitted and refuses to tithe.
- Upon hearing a someone criticize the pastor, a gung ho disciple fiercely defends the pastor, condemning those who would speak against God's anointed. The next day at breakfast with several key men, the pastor who he defended calls this disciple several names, including idiot and jackass.
After years of praying God's blessing on the pastor, and giving incredible amounts of money in the church offerings, a couple leaves the Potter's House to attend another church, and the pastor they prayed for all those years prays a curse down on them, in Jesus Name, amen. Or was that in Wayman's name?
Wayman O., mighty prophet and apostle of his own fellowship, who is thus exalted by the members of his fellowship, gets a serious look on his face, and declares, "Birds don't talk, demons do!" Thus he enlightens his followers as to the real power behind birds that "talk."
After running off and/or destroying all but one of his original appointed leaders, Wayman O. parades the new and improved board of elders before the people and declares, "Behold thy gods, who brought thee out of Egypt!" And the crowd cheered.
