      I have tried Sk 1.7.0 and 1.7.1,
but the problem is the same.

      then I start "installskydb"
      HP-dv6315ea:/usr/local/src/skylendar-1.7.1 #
      installskydb
      Starting PostgreSQL
pg_ctl: another server may be running; trying to
      start server
      anyway
      pg_ctl: could not start server
      Examine the log output.

      which: no apt-get in

      bin)
The QT postgreSQL driver doesn't seem to be
      present.
Install it before running this script

      /usr/lib/qt3/plugins/lib/sqldrivers/libqsqlpsql.so

      On Opensuse is only dir
      /usr/lib/qt3/plugins/sqldrivers wich
      contains 4 files:
      file:///usr/lib/qt3/plugins/sqldrivers/libqsqlite.lib64.so
      file:///usr/lib/qt3/plugins/sqldrivers/libqsqlmysql.lib64.so

      file:///usr/lib/qt3/plugins/sqldrivers/libqsqlpsql.lib64.so

and then I start anyway skylendar, after login
      this program craches

I have PostgreSQL 8.2.x with all packcages all I can find.
In file installskydb I have moditifed later:
      line
      "if [ "$QTDIR" != "" ] && ! [ -f $QTDIR/plugins/lib/sqldrivers/

      to
      "if [ "$QTDIR" != "" ] && ! [ -f $QTDIR/plugins/*/sqldrivers/
      libqsqlpsql*.so ]; then"

And line for skylendar user creating:
      "useradd -c Skylendar -r -g nogroup -d /tmp/skylendar -s /bin/bash
      skylendar "
because the default shell is /bin/false and then user skylendar can't
      login and creat any database.

The crash is probably due to the fact that sk has been compiled for a
        64 bits system (athlon64 ?).
Unfortunately, I don't have any 64 bits processor. Of course, I know
there is a glitch with it. That being said, I only get very little
return and no real help from the users. So, don't be surprised if
        something doesn't work...
