Swamiji Chidanandaji's visit (to the DLS branch in Maryland) be addressed
directly to the ashram there. The following information is provided for

      Yours in service of Gurudev,

The Swami Sivananda Spiritual Centre of Malaysia has reproduced some
articles from their official newsletter, brought out by the Information and
Education sub-committee of The Divine Life Society Petaling sub-branch.
These very uplifting articles can be found at the following URL:

FOOLISH DISPASSION: After the night Satsang, the Master was leaving the
hall when he noticed Swami Gurusaranananda, who gives discourses on the
Bhagavata at the Ashram. He was very lean in constitution.
The Master remarked, "You are a Bhagavat. The scriptures say that one
should live a hundred years in this world, doing good work. But you are so
lean. Why don't you take Chyavanaprash (a natural herbal rejuvenating
      tonic). Will you take it?"
      "No, Swamiji," replied Swami Gurusaranananda.
"Do not be a Moorkhananda (foolish monk); take milk and Chyavanaprash.
While Gandhiji was in England he took goat's milk. This body is Annamaya
      Kosha. It needs nourishing food."
The Master had asked Gurusaranananda on several previous occasions to take
      milk and Chyavanaprash,
but the Swami had refused to do so. Such was the Master's solicitude for
      his disciples!
