We have uploaded Gurudev Sri Swami Sivanandaji's book Kundalini Yoga to
      our free books page at:
      http://www.rsl.ukans.edu/~pkanagar/divine/download/download.htm

In this book, the theory that underlies the cosmic power has been analysed
to its thinnest filaments, and practical methods have been suggested to
awaken this great pristine force in individuals. It explains the theory
and illustrates the practice of Kundalini Yoga.

The following books have been uploaded to Sri Swami Krishnanandaji's site:
      1) "An Introduction to the Philosophy of Yoga"--A comprehensive study of
the mechanics of Yoga from its subjective, objective and transcendental
      aspects.

      2) "A Messenger of Peace and Wisdom"--The souvenir published for the
occasion of the 75th birthday of Swami Krishnananda.

      Swamiji's website is at:
      http://education.vsnl.com/swami_krishnananda/

The following uploads have been made to the DLS of Maryland's website:

      * Chidanand Upanishad, a Love Offering by a Devotee
      * Heart of Sivananda, our latest Newsletter
      * Special Insights Into Sadhana (Nos. 1-8) By Swami Chidananda

WHEN THE CHARITABLE NATURE COMES: The Master was returning to his cottage after
the office work. On the way a Sindhi lady from Nyasaland approached him in a
desperate condition, catching hold of his feet and weeping. He was informed
that she had lost her husband a few months ago.

The Darshan of the Master made her peaceful. He took her to his cottage,
consoled her, gave her a Mantra to repeat and conducted prayer for the departed
soul. Within a few moments the lady became absolutely quiet and calm. She
presented the Master with a Persian carpet and Rs. 100 for feeding the Sadhus
and Mahatmas of the Ashram. She then departed with a peaceful mind.

"The charitable nature usually comes to rich people only after the death of
someone and not before," remarked the Master.

With all the comforts and the glories of physical life, if the mind is not in
peace, of what avail is this glory of the earth? --Swami Krishnananda
