We have uploaded a booklet by Sri Swami Devanandaji titled Some Reminiscences
of Gurudev Swami Sivananda. This booklet consists of the
      following topics:

      1) A day in the life of Gurudev Swami Sivanandaji Maharaj
      2) Gurudev's Sadhana,
      3) The Days Before Gurudev's Mahasamadhi.

Swami Devanandaji was a personal attendant of Gurudev. The Days Before
      Gurudev's Mahasamadhi' is especially moving.

In celebration of Sri Swami Chidanandaji's 50th Anniversary of Sannyasa Diksha
on July 10th we uploaded Swamiji's book, Twenty Important Spiritual
Instructions. This book contains a series of talks on Sri Swami Sivanandaji's
      Twenty Important Spiritual Instructions.

Both these books can be downloaded from:

      Yours in service of Gurudev,

TO HUSBANDS AND WIVES: The Master turned to Sri Guru Kaksh Rai, "What is the
      duty of a husband?"

He himself answered, "The husband should take care of the family. He should be
a companion to his wife on the journey of life. He should be a husband to her
till she gives birth to one or two children. Thereafter he should become her
spiritual friend and guide her on the spiritual path."

Turning to the lady, the Master said, "The wife should be loyal and sincere to
her husband. She should share his pleasures and pains. She should induce him to
take to spiritual practices and be a help to him. She should bring up her
children as spiritual heroes. She should induce devotion in them."

Both husband and wife were pleased and took leave.

In your innermost being, in your essential reality, there is no problem. It is
all perfect. It is all a mass of light. There is wholeness and completeness.
There is all joy and peace. There is nothing to be done there. It requires
nothing to be done. You cannot paint a lily as it were or hold a candle to the
sun. Your Reality is a mass of Divine Light. --Swami Chidananda
