RE: [singaporejugglers] On the run
- yah. the cops came and took down the particulars of everyone above ground
too, whether they were or weren't playing with fire...:(
i guess those civic-minded ppl weren't entertained...
but then again, there are also ppl out there who ENJOY putting an end to
other's joy...in the name of civic-consciousness...
let it be

Wow, this Friday evening at the Esplanade underpass sure reminded me that
this country still has some way to go in a certain (my lips are sealed in
this email, heh heh) direction.
Apparently a member of the public complained to the police about the people
practising in the underpass....those people included the group of us
practising our juggling. Don't think we ran foul of the law; it's just that
someone complained formally to the police and hence the police have to do
*sigh* what a letdown. guess it's back to the Youth Park??
Anyway, i related this to a friend of mine and he reckons that it's 'cos we
jugglers were practising near the breakdancers, who tend to have a bad rep.
Recall that back at the Youth Park, those breakdancers were a rowdy bunch
and littered the whole area etc.? Jugglers are typically a well-behaved
bunch of people.
