Most name brand computers come with Norton or McAfee as a free trial these days. And most of them boot quicker and run faster after they are removed. Mike

No I haven't but I've also heard that about McAfee as you mention it. The reason I'm with Norton is because the PC I bought in December had it pre-installed

Have you ever tried running your computer with it removed? I just had a newer Dell laptop here running McAfee. Took off McAfee and it is running notability
