Looking for a English-Russian translation
- Hi all,
I've started working with the local Scribes Guild, and was wondering if
anyone could translate "illuminator" or "illustrator" into Russian for me?
Thanks in advance,
Su of the Silver Horn, Caid

- As far as I can tell, it's "illiuminator." "Illumination" is "illiuminatsiia." "Illustrator" is "illiustrator." Sorry it's not more interesting! Maybe the native Russian speakers can come up with something better.
Here's the Cyrillic; not sure if it will come through. If not, and you need it, let me know and I can send it in a Word doc.
illiuminator --
illiustrator --
illiustratsiia --

- Have you tried the http://lingvo.yandex.ru/ online dictionary?
Illustrator is the same (иллюстратор)
But you have to specify which illuminator you're talking about. There are
several different meanings.
